2003 National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP) County Mosaics of Indiana Imagery Now Available

This two-DVD+R disk set is now available from the Indiana Geological Survey at a cost of $50.00. If you don’t have the capability or time to download 6.8 gigabytes of data, then this disk set was made for you.

The image format is MrSID generation 3. Each county image includes a MrSID image file (.sid), a MrSID world file (.swd), an ESRI .aux file (for projection information), a [countyname]_info.txt file (with a description of the encoding process), a list of images mosaiced, coordinate and other metadata information, and a [countyname].txt file (with FGDC-compliant metadata). Metadata includes source data for each quarter-quad image included in each county mosaic.
