IGS Metadata Information

The folowing Web pages were developed to provide assistance in producing minimally compliant FGDC metadata. The highlight is our new IGS Metadata Builder tool, which is an open-source software application created to quickly and efficiently collect essential information about your geographic information systems (GIS) layers, databases, or hard-copy maps. The tool is currently in a Beta release, and is undergoing testing and revision. Please feel free to try out the tool and report any bugs you encounter or features you'd like to see addded using the Google Code issue tracking system.
