    Abstract: Map of 2030 Population projections by range for 455 Traffic Analysis Zones (TAZ's) in Lake, Porter and LaPorte Counties, IN. and based on the Census 2000 attribute file for TAZ's.
    Purpose: The development of the Connections 2030 Regional Transportation Plan for Northwest Indiana (Lake, Porter and LaPorte Counties) required population projections by the 455 traffic analysis zones (TAZ's)delineated by the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission during the Census Bureau programs for development of the Census Transportation Planning Package 2000. Population projections by TAZ were prepared by NIRPC through the allocation of county 2030 control totals and projections were incorporated in GIS projects for the planning document and presentations.
