The newly added Layer Gallery organizes all of the available IndianaMap GIS layers by major category (Demographics, Environment, Geology, Government, Hydrology, Imagery, Infrastructure, and Reference). Each layer is represented by a thumbnail that illustrates the symbology used in the online map. Web links are also provided to Download data layers, explore the Metadata, and access the Map Service (REST) pages for each layer. Last but certainly not least, the Preview Map links launches a lightweight map viewer giving you the ability to quickly examine any layer of interest, zoom and pan, identify feature attributes, adjust the transparency of the layer to examine underlying basemap features, and switch between the various basemaps.
