Development of the Monitoring Network

Fleming and others mapped hydrogeologic settings of Indiana. |
Map 2 |
The Indiana Ground Water Task Force decided to use these settings as the basis for the pesticide-monitoring network. A special subcommittee was formed to select those settings to be included in the network. |

Agricultural areas within each monitoring network were identified. |

Map 4 |
Monitoring points within each network were selected by personnel of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). |
