Examples of maps that were produced from soil samples taken in the test plots around Wells 54 and 55. The maps are derived from a Soil Analysis Report submitted to a cooperating farmer by the Jackson-Jennings Co-op. The maps showing phosphorous and potassium (units are "pounds per acre") are indices of the availability of those nutrients to plants under a variety of soil conditions.
