|Dr. Doug Edmonds||
Sedimentology, stratigraphy, and geomorphology of depositional sedimentary systems such as deltas and floodplains; numerical modeling of sedimentary processes; field observation and laboratory experimentation related to sedimentology.
Doug Edmonds is an Assistant Professor of Geological Sciences at Indiana University and a Principal Researcher at the Center for Geospatial Data Analysis. Doug's research focuses on improving our understanding of reach-scale features such as levees and river channel bars in addition to broad-scale systems like deltas and river belts. He was recently awarded the Robert R. Schrock Professorship in Sedimentary Geology at Indiana University.
